What is it?
Battlesnake Salish Snake Squad is a programming competition where participants write software to compete in Battlesnake, a multiplayer version of the classic arcade game Snake.
Who is it for?
Battlesnake Salish Snake Squad is for students in Grade 6-12 in the Olympic Peninsula area of the United States. It’s an exciting and educational competition that attracts developers of all skill levels, from novice to expert.
Why should I attend?
The community group behind the Salish Snake Squad Battlesnake community wants to help students who want to learn more about software development. They will be using repl.it to make a snake and run a tournament for students who are stuck at home.
When and where is it happening?
Everything is virtual, head over to Port Townsend AI for links to attend online workshops and the tournament.
How much does it cost?
Battlesnake is FREE for everyone, but you must register in advance. Register at Port Townsend AI
