Got my start writing minecraft mods. Nowadays my job is all C++ backend stuff but in my free time I tend to use Rust (including for my snake). Saw battlesnake linked somewhere online and thought it looked like an interesting challenge. Ended up writing the first version of combat reptile over a couple of weekends. Really enjoying it so far!
